John H Andrews

John Henry Andrews, 80 of Huntsville passed away, Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born April 24, 1938 in Salona, PA to Fred Morgan Andrews and Anna Louise Harpster-Andrews.

He served as a career serviceman in the US Army for 20 years and was a Vietnam veteran.  He had a great love for music and was a talented musician. During his time in the service he often played "TAPS" for other fallen servicemen.  Other hobbies included woodworking and reading, but most of all he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Monika Andrews of the home; two sons, Mark F. Andrews and wife Debbie and John H. Andrews II and wife Debbie, both of Lake Villa, IL; sister, Louise Boyle of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Christopher Andrews (Tracy), Timothy Andrews (Kerry), Lindsey Andrews-Sullivian (Kyle), Kyle Andrews (Alycia), Melanie Andrews and Colin Andrews; great grandchildren, Lucy, Daniel, Austin, Timothy, Charley, Jaxon, Jameson, Erikson, Jayde and several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 12-2 PM at Ringa Funeral Home in Lake Villa, IL. Funeral service will follow at 2PM with Rev. Kauffman officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
