William J. “Bill” Gumm, 80 of Forum passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018. He was born December 18, 1937 in Clifty, Arkansas to Roy Elmer Gumm and Opal Pearl Byrd-Gumm. He was married to Ella Mae Bjork on February 10, 1974. They lived in Springdale with the children until 1982 and they moved to Huntsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Elmer Floyd Gumm, Ethel Mildred Gumm-Booker, Everett Leo Hoskill Gumm, Elvia Earl Gumm, Ellen Estel Gumm-Kettner, Emma Eloise Gumm, Edith Elvira Gumm, Glen Allen Gumm and Kenneth Byrd; son, Clifford Wade and his wife, Janice Wade also daughter in law, Kathy Gumm and grandson, David Allen.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ella Mae Gumm of the home; children, Mike Gumm of Holiday Island, Larry Gumm and wife LaDonna of Forum, Raymond Wade of Fayetteville, Ernest Wade of Jasper and Leanna Miller of Aurora; siblings, Earl Lee Gumm of Calhoun, MO and Agnes Beatric Walker of Independence, MO and eleven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Community Church of Forum. A funeral service will be 10AM, Tuesday at the church with Pastor Justin Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Gumm Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick Barnhart, Donnie Walker, Don Bjork, Eric Lowery, Cyrus Crow, Jason Smith and Richard McVey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Bunnion, Jerry Clemons, Tina Reading, Larry Thornburg, David Dodd, Shane Gumm, Cody Gumm, Beau Gumm, Jeraid Gumm, Travis Gumm, Jason Wade, Jonathan Wade and Jamie Miller.
