Albert Lee Rawlins

Albert Lee Rawlins, 75, of Aurora; passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Countryside Assisted Living in Huntsville.  He was born Thursday, February 10, 1949, in Newton, Iowa; to Albert Dwaine and Helen Pauline Coles Rawlins. 

Albert was enlisted in the Air Force from 1971 to 1975 where he was stationed in Hahn, Germany. Once he returned to the states he began driving with his father for many years before he started driving across country until he retired. Albert enjoyed watching football, nascar, and movies. In his past time he loved riding his Harley Davidson with family and friends. 

A funeral service will be held 1:30 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Military Honors. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service. 

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen Rawlins; two sisters Nina Ahlfs and Sharon Rawlins; one grandson, Earl Byron Casady Jr. and best friend Randy Monroe Sr. He is survived by his three daughters and one son, Sandra Casady and Melissa Scharfe of Sioux City, Iowa; Dawn Rawlins and Bert Rawlins of Dysart, Iowa; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and Randy Monroe Sr.’s family.
