Annetta Lynne Wasson passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 70 and is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on May 17, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Leland Arthur and Phyllis Jean Burge Kinnaman.
She enjoyed sitting on the porch, reading, being with family, collecting farm animals, decorating and shopping. After graduating Little Rock Hall High School 1973, she continued her education and received her Masters Degree at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas in 1978. This is where she met the love of her life, Charles Thomas "Tommy" Wasson while attending Ouachita and were married on August 6, 1977. She was a beloved teacher for the North Little Rock, Springdale and St. Paul Public School Districts.
Lynne is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Emily Jean Wasson and one sister, Brenda Lee Kinnaman
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles Thomas "Tommy" Wasson of St. Paul, Arkansas, one son, Thomas (Sara) Wasson, Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one daughter, Jennie (Codey) Self of Springdale, Arkansas, one brother, Art (Kim) Kinnaman of Little Rock, Arkansas, one sister, Anne Woker of Little Rock, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Madilynne, Kate, Hunter, Harlon and Evelynne.
A Visitation will take place at 12:30PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025 with funeral services following at 2:00PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 5395 East Robinson Ave, Springdale, Arkansas with Pastor Rex Eaton officiating. Burial will be private for family only.
Those serving as Pallbearers will be Art Kinnaman, Ken Wasson, Ron Wasson, Doug Wasson, Dave Brinkman, Logan Short and Clayton McCoy.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials can be made to St. Paul Public Library and Crosses Community Church in Crosses, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service, Hindsville, Arkansas.
