Avery was a student of Kingston Public School, where he pursued his education.  He was an active member of the FFA Club, where he formed lasting friendships. His passions extended beyond academics; Avery loved the great outdoors. He spent countless hours hunting and camping, activities that allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature. Alongside these pursuits, he found joy in welding and playing video games, interests that showcased his creativity and zest for life.

He was known for his kind and loving spirit. He cherished his family deeply and made it his mission to be a source of support and humor for those around him. His laughter and enthusiasm were infectious, and he had a unique ability to bring people together. Whether it was a family camping trip or a simple game night, Avery ensured that those he loved felt appreciated and valued.

Avery's life, though brief, was lived with purpose and joy. His impact on family and friends will be felt for years to come. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and the importance of family bonds that will resonate through the hearts of all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Jerry Wages and Ricky Thompson, as well as his great-grandparents, Johnny and Mildred Jones, Clyde and Velma Burk. Avery was also preceded by his great uncles, Donald Burk, and Ronnie Bell, his aunt, Sharon Thompson, and his cousins, Greg Stephenson and Joseph Ybanez, who welcomed him with open arms into eternity.

He was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose journey in this world came to an untimely end on September 29, 2025, in Huntsville, Arkansas at the age of 15 years old.

Avery is survived by his loving parents, Douglas Wayne Burk and Jacklyn Renee Burk, who provided him with a nurturing home filled with love and support. He was a devoted brother to Aiden Wayne Joseph Burk, who looked up to him, and a caring brother to Ashley (John) Davidson of Hindsville, Arkansas. In their eyes, he was not just a sibling; he was a protector, a confidant, and a source of joy, three grandparents, Douglas Burk of Kingston, Arkansas, Donna Burk and Carolyn Wages both of Huntsville, Arkansas.
