Barbara Huskey

Barbara Ann Huskey, 82, of Hindsville passed away on Wednesday, June 28 at her home.  She was born July 30, 1940, in Rogers, AR to Forrest Johnson Sr. and Emma (Lockhart) Johnson.

She was the best Mimi her grandkids could want.  Her family was the light of her life.  She was a strong Christian woman of great integrity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Forrest “Sonny” Johnson Jr., a son-in-law, James “Jim” Morton, and a daughter-in-law, Penny Huskey.

She is survived by her sister, Brenda Price (Mike) of Fayetteville, her daughter, Sharon Morton of Rogers, and her son, Charles Huskey of Hindsville. Grandchildren include Lauren (Stephen) Holroyd, Lainey Huskey, Christie Morton, Jason (Mindy) Morton, Tim Morton, Becca Morton, and one great-great grandchild, Ezra Morton.    

A funeral service will be Saturday, July 15 at 10am at the Crossroads Community Church, 32561 Highway 295, Hindsville, AR 72738 with Pastor Rocky Bell officiating. A private family burial will be at Langley Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
