Bertha Thompson Obituary

Bertha Janell Thompson, 71 of Huntsville passed away October 2, 2021 at Meadowview Nursing Home in Huntsville. She was born February 15, 1950 in Henrietta, Texas to David Leon Thompson and Hilda Lawana (Emery) Thompson. Survivors include her son Corey Brent Thompson of Huntsville; one brother, James Thompson and wife Vickie of Oklahoma and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody and Jackie Middleton and sons and Shelby Phillips, Staff at Meadowview Nursing Home in Huntsville and her First Baptist Church family.

A graveside service will be held 1PM, Friday, October 8, 2021 with Pastor Jack McCarty officiating. Burial will be at Sparks Cemetery in Huntsville. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service. At her request, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local food pantry or animal shelter.
