Betty Alyce Crain, 62 of Witter, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 16, 1961 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to William David Watkins and Ruby Joan (Samuels) Watkins. Betty was raised in Stuttgart Holiness Pentecostal Church. She was always open and friendly, loyal to a fault. She loved to help people. She would give her last dollar to a stranger if a person needed it. She had a soft heart, and was rewarded with her second child to raise at age 39. She was a hard worker, even while battling cancer. She crocheted hats for fellow cancer patients. Being an animal lover, she even crocheted a suit for a pet lizard. She was a great cook, a loving mom, and a best friend to her husband of 47 years. She will be dearly missed.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Phillip Watkins; three sisters, Linda Sanders, Patricia Kirkendall, and Ronda Smith; two brothers-in-law, Carroll Sanders and Carroll Kirkendall; and two nephews, Phillip Watkins and David Sanders.
