Brandon Eugene Bowen was born on March 29, 1978, in Rogers, Arkansas, to Ronnie Glen Bowen and Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Collins Usrey. He passed away on January 27, 2026, at his home in Kingston, Arkansas.
Brandon grew up in Lowell and Kingston, Arkansas—places that helped shape the hardworking, straightforward man he became. He spent more than 20 years working in industrial maintenance, employed by companies such as Butterball, Tyson Foods, and George’s. He also worked for Burton’s Pool and Spa, a job he truly loved, along with holding several other positions throughout his life. Brandon was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to fix just about anything.
Brandon never sugar-coated anything. He was open and honest about the mistakes he made in his younger years and used those experiences as motivation to better himself. He attended vo-tech, earning certifications in small engine repair and working toward an electrician apprentice path. He worked hard to use the lessons from his life to guide his children, always encouraging them to stay out of trouble, work hard, and strive to be better than he felt he had been.
One of Brandon’s greatest joys was fishing. He rarely went anywhere without a fishing pole in his truck and could often be found casting a line at Murphy Park in Springdale.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Floyd and Alice Collins, and Gene and Jackie Bowen; his uncle, Gary Bowen; and his father-in-law, Weldon Bassett.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his son, Blake; his daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Caleb Holsted; his grandson, Eli; and his bonus daughter and granddaughter, Anna and Elissa.
He is also survived by his mother, Cindy Usrey; his sister, Brandy Long; and his brother, Clint Holland.
Brandon will be laid to rest at Kingston Cemetery beside his father.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
