Carol Dee Inkelaar Lyman, 66 of Wharton Creek passed away March 31, 2021 at Willard Walker Hospice. She was born April 11, 1954 in Wichita, KS to Garritt and Patricia (Tyson) Inkelaar. She grew up in Forum, Arkansas and attended Huntsville schools. After marrying she moved to Wharton Creek, she was a farmer, raising dairy calves and cattle. She taught at the Head start Homebase program and tutored as a paraprofessional with the Huntsville schools in the migrant and ESOL programs, retiring after twenty-three years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Lyman; step father and step mother; brother, Micah Marshall and sister-in-law, Audrey Marshall.
She is survived by son, Scott Lyman and wife Lela; daughter, Amanda Eaton and husband Michael; grandchildren, Adrian Watkins and Husband Eren, Tanner Lyman and wife Ellie, Victoria Phillips and husband Will, Caiden Lyman, Chaisy Eaton, and Georgia Lyman; great grandchildren, Opal Watkins and Bowe Lyman; four sisters, Sheryl Harvey, Geri Harner and husband Randy, Diana Inkelaar and Tina Lindblad and husband David; two brothers, Thomas Marshall and Terry Marshall and wife Tammi; brother in law, Jim Lyman and wife Kay; sister in law, Linda Littrell and husband Harvey and many nieces, nephews and family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Friday, April 2,2021 in the Chapel of the Madison County Funeral Service. A Graveside Service will be held at 10AM, Saturday April 3,2021. Burial will be at the Lower Wharton Creek cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Paul Sevcik, Brian Jones, Don Hauser, Scotty Burks, Michael Madison and Colton Pelfrey.
