Cecil "Sonny" Moore

Cecil Lee Ray “Sonny” Moore,81, of Huntsville, passed away on Friday, July 05, 2024, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born on September 07,1942, in Springdale, OR to Cecil Ray Moore and Lora Blackshaire.

Sonny was a longtime member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Huntsville.  He had a zest for life and passion for camping and working the land on his farm. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Moore and Robert Moore; sister, Melinda Blackshaire.

He is survived by his wife, Janice of the home and brother, Larry Dubic of Lamar, MO.

Pallbearers will be Russell Woodward, Mark McNew, Kevin Miller, Dennis Waters, Dana Samples and Brent Gurley.

A celebration of life  will be held 10 AM, on Wednesday, July 10, at the Bohannan Mountain Cemetery with Pastor Jason Scott officiating.

Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
