Obituary
Chasitie Nicole VanDroof, age 36 and her son, Cristian Valencia, age 12 both passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Huntsville.
Chasitie was born February 9, 1987 in Springdale to Travis VanDroof and Denise Brey. Cristian was born June 27, 2011 in Springdale to Luis Valencia and Chasitie VanDroof.
They were preceded in death by Denise Brey Roberts and infant Jose.
Surviving family members include Margaret and Donald Brey, Mercedes “Sadie” Soto, Christy McClure, Travis VanDroof, William Roberts, Debbie Burson and many other extended family members and close friends.
To know Chasitie and Cristian is to know love and fun. Chasitie loved her kids more than anything in the world. She made them her first priority always and made sure they had what they wanted and were in the sports/activities they wanted to be in. Chasitie loved to go out and camp at the lake and be with her friends and those close to her. Chasitie made life fun everywhere she would go, always making people laugh. Cristian had a smile that was contagious to all who saw it. Cristian loved to play soccer, be outside with friends and his family, and playing video games.
A celebration of their life will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 1-5PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran church 2901 E. Zion Rd #17, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
