Clara Mae (Hency) Dunham

Clara Mae (Hency) Dunham was born on January 3, 1937 in Morley, Missouri to Claudius and Lula Mae (Estes) Hency.  Our Lord and Savior took her to her Heavenly home on September 2, 2020.    

Clara served faithfully as a pastor’s wife for many years, she was active in church her entire life. She served as a music director and had a vocal music ministry. Her favorite scripture was, thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee, Psalms 119:11.

She was preceded in death by siblings; Neal, Ralph, Charles, Claudius, Jr, Mamie, Eugene, Martha and Margaret and one granddaughter, Janna.

Clara is survived by her husband of 31 1/2 years, Harold Matthew Dunham; one natural child, Kenneth Cook and wife Mary Jo of West Plaines, Missouri; two grandchildren, Bethany Bailey and Blakley Cook; four great grandchildren, Addyson, Hadley, Quinn and Willow; five step children, Philip Dunham and wife Laurie of Tucson, AZ, Becky Whitaker and husband Jimmie of Osceola, AR , Donna Downing of Tulsa, OK, Bill Dunham and wife Barb of  Wapello, IA and David Dunham and wife Jessica of  Huntsville, AR; thirteen step grandchildren, Jared, Jacob, James, LeeAnn, Becky D., Matthew, Tommy, Emmeline, Irene, Sarah, Hannah, Molly and Luke;  eight step Great-Grandchildren: James, Jasmine, Sadie, Jayden, Dela, Destiny, Alandra, Isabel, Lucian; one Great-Great-Grandchild, Janelle and 23 nieces and nephews; three siblings, Pauline Burgess, Don Hency and Bobby Hency.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 5,2020 at 10AM in the Chapel at Madison County Funeral Service in Huntsville, Arkansas with funeral service following at 11AM. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Watts, Oklahoma. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service in Huntsville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be: James Whitaker, Blakely Cook, Luke Dunham, Matthew Dunham, William Dunham and Chris Flory.

Honorary Pallbearers: John Dunham and David Dunham.
