Deborah Mayfield Byron

Deborah Mayfield Byron, age 70 of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Willard Walker Hospice Home with the love of her life, Stephen, at her side. She was born December 5, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Robert Benjamin and Katherine A. (Richardson) Mayfield.  Deborah was giving, loving, kind, full of hospitality, and a great cook.

Deborah's memory lives on in the hearts of her life partner, Stephen Vallus; her brother, Scott G. Mayfield, and many friends that became family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local cat rescue in Deborah’s memory.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
