Obituary
Donald Ray Bowen “Don”, 66 of Wesley went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born September 18, 1956 in Shawnee, OK to Ernest Gordon Bowen and Wetha Jo (Shelton) Bowen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gordon Dwain and Dennis Ricky Bowen.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Rea and husband Dave of Fayetteville; brother, Darrell Bowen and wife Anita of Elkins; sister, Darla Bloomdahl and husband Steve of Ozark; brother Brian Bowen and wife Christina of Wesley; extended family, Mike Neal and wife Eve of Wesley; two grandchildren, Morgan Bilderback and husband Haiden of Huntsville and Heath Rea of Fayetteville; Great grandson, Copeland Bilderback of Huntsville as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 9AM in the Chapel of the Madison County Funeral Service in Huntsville. The funeral service will be at 10:30AM with Brother Michael Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the Wesley Cemetery. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Neal, Billy Melson, Louis Dyke, David Rea and Haiden Bilderback.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Heath Rea, Steve Bloomdahl, Chris Bloomdahl, Nicholas Bloomdahl, Nat Bloomdahl, Noah Bloomdahl, Steven Bowen, David Bowen, and Jay Counts.
