Doris (Stitt) Helmuth

Doris Helmuth - 84 years old, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Countryside Assisted Living in Huntsville, AR. She was born November 24,1940 to Harold Stitt and Leona Stitt in Brush, CO.

Doris graduated High School from Brush, CO. She loved the horses and lambs on the farm where she grew up. She was a former member of Riverside Baptist Church.  She  played the violin,twirled the baton and loved to sing. She was a pro at winning on slot machines,loved playing cards, and was a die hard Broncos Fan.

Preceded in death by her husband Ralph Helmuth, her parents Harold and Leona (Lackey) Stitt, her sister Milly Gill, and brothers Hal and Ralph Stitt.

Survivors include her son Larry Finley of Texas, her daughter Pamela Finley of Eureka Springs, AR., her sister Betty Coulthard of Colorado, her best friend since Kindergarten, Evelyn Kachel, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers please direct any donations to Countryside Assisted Living/ Memory care in Huntsville Arkansas.

Cremation is under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
