Dwight E Strong

Dwight E. Strong, 81 of Elkins passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born June 22, 1943 in Isabell, SD to Ruben and Marie Strong. He served our country in the United States Army from 1964-1966. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Frankie (Pettit) Strong; daughter, Rebecca Bell; son, Rocky Hopkins and brothers, Jimmy Strong, Timothy Strong and Ray Strong.

Survivors include his two sons, Dwight Strong II and wife Emily of Elkins and Ricky Hopkins and wife Jill of Fayetteville; sister, Penny Cooper of Prairie Grove; brother, Larry Strong of Farmington; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 1PM, Tuesday, December 17, 2024 with Pastor Ray Baggett officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Crosses . Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
