Elmore Lamar Fields, 77, of Wesley, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at his home. He was born January 7, 1949, to Philip Fields, Sr. and Dollie Bell Fields. Elmore served in The United States Army, and after that, he worked as a janitor for The Veterans Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; the mother of his children, Shirley Guyton; his daughter, Britanny Fields; one sister and four brothers. Survivors include his son, Lamar (Jessica) Fields of Wesley; three sisters: Dollie Yarbrough, Deloris Jenkins and Vernecial Fields; one brother, James Earl Fields; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Elmore will be placed at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Madison County Funeral Service, 4373 S. Main St., Hindsville, Arkansas 72738.
