Eugene L Pitts

Eugene Lee Pitts, 75 of Witter passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020. He was born March 23, 1944 in Prairie Grove, Ar. to Earl Pitts and Lola Marie Decker-Pitts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma Thomas-Pitts; infant twin sons, Christopher and Christian Pitts and sister Linda Henington.

 Survivors include; two sons, James Pitts of Branson, Missouri and Jason Pitts and wife Amanda of Witter; daughter, Amanda Nay of Oregon; three sisters, Pricilla Vanzant of Claremore, Oklahoma, Carol Walker and husband James of Springdale and Doris Anderson of Bentonville; six grandchildren, Skylar, Alek, Catherine, Elija, Zachary and Mika.  

The family will receive friends from 10-11AM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the White River Baptist Church in St. Paul. A funeral service will be held 11AM, following with brother Kenny Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Cove cemetery in Witter. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Pitts, Jason Pitts, Tommy Wasson, Josiah Yohn, Dave Masterson and Bill Idleman.

Honorary Pallbearers: Simon Keck, Jeff Ellis, Robert James Gregory and Terry Evans.
