Glenda Lynn Baughman

Glenda Lynn Baughman, 55 of Witter passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born September 6, 1971, in Huntsville, Arkansas to David Michael Owens and Peggy Lee (Joseph) Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Amie Kirbo.

Glenda enjoyed her time with family playing cards, dominoes, and spending her day at the Arkansas River reeling in white bass, and out-fishing everyone. She loved to make cookies, carrot cake and just about anything you could think of. She would never let you go home hungry and always made everyone feel so welcome and didn’t know a stranger. She loved her Saturday Market days. She immensely loved her husband, five daughters, rocking her grandbabies, her friends and her two chihuahuas, binky and gypsy. More than anything, she leaves a legacy with hundreds of smiles filled with memories. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jerry Baughman of the home; daughters, Amanda Pitts and husband Jason, Sheena Baughman, Verna Pack and husband Roy, Stormi Baughman and Jaxon Bivens, and Hannah Baughman; siblings, Billy Owens and wife Melissa of Kingston and Katie Keck and husband Bobby of Witter; grandchildren, Cathrine, Elija, Brooklyn, Sydney, Arlen; great grandchildren, Lilah and Rowen and two more on the way.

A funeral service will be 2PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the Chapel of Madison County Funeral Service with Pastor Gary Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cove Cemetery near Witter. Pallbearers will be Billy Owens, Jackie Owens, David Cook, Joseph Cook, Bobby Keck and Dale Baughman. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Spratt and Wes Walters. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service. In her honor the family request you wear purple as it was her favorite color.
