Glynda Faye ( Perkins) Bennett, 75 of Huntsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 4, 2025 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born February 25, 1950 in Ozark, Arkansas to Orval Perkins and Rema (Henson) Perkins. Glynda was no stranger to hard work, having spent her years in the garment factory in Huntsville, tending a hog farm at Drakes Creek, working at the Tyson plant in Fayetteville, working at LaBarge in Huntsville and cleaning numerous homes throughout Northwest Arkansas.
She attended church at Colbaugh Christian Home in Hindsville with her family, where she sang every service, touching many hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers,Burl Perkins, Leo Perkins, Paul Perkins and David Perkins; two sisters, Marilyn Burnett and Lydia Perkins and sister in law, Tina Perkins.
Survivors include her loving children, Rebecca Burton and husband Lonnie of Hindsville and Daniel Bennett and wife Tracy of Wesley; grandson, Cole Burton of Hindsville; granddaughter, Gabrielle Bennett of Wesley; sisters, Millie Shepherd and husband Kenny of Hindsville and Helen Aborn and husband Chuck of Greenland; brothers, Timothy Perkins and wife Nancy of Crosses, Luke Perkins, Mark Perkins and Harold Perkins all of Combs, Johnny Perkins and wife Sabrina of Sonora, Donald Perkins of St. Paul, Earl Perkins of Booneville, Marlin Perkins of Fayetteville; sister in law, Alice Perkins of Combs and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held, 2PM, July 9, 2025 in the chapel of Madison County Funeral Service, 4373 S. Main St, Hindsville, Arkansas 72738, with Brother Roy Biswell officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Buckeye Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Perkins, Donald Perkins, Harold Perkins, Luke Perkins, Timothy Perkins, Donovan Villines
Honorary Pallbearers will be:Johnny Perkins, Marlin Perkins, Kenny Shepherd, Chuck Aborn, Kendall Alfaro, Scotty Shepherd
Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
