J.P "Jake" Brandenburg

J.P “Jake” Brandenburg, 72 of Witter passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at his home. He was born in Huntsville to Orin Brandenburg and Golda (Phillips) Brandenburg on April 20, 1952. He was greatly loved and respected by his community.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Reta Jane (Haffelder) Brandenburg; parents; sister, Jenna Bee Brandenburg; two brothers, Aurthur and Larry Brandenburg; uncle, Price Brandenburg.

Survivors include children, Julie Sizemore (Larry) of Tontitown, Jill Head and (Johnny Knowlton) of Huntsville and Jason Brandenburg of Fourm; sister, Joanie Henderson (Douglas) of Witter; five grandchildren, Dustin Sizemore(Lindsay), Dylan Sizemore (Ashley), Devin Sizemore (Brandy), Katelyn Head and Madelyn Head; four great grandchildren, Aiden Sizemore, Talon Sizemore, Sophie Sizemore, Hollis Sizemore and one on the way; nephews, James Henderson, John Henderson and Joseph Henderson; nieces, Jennifer Jordan and Jessica Rodriguez.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Sizemore, Dylan Sizemore, Devin Sizemore, James Henderson, John Henderson and Joseph Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Knowlton, John Brandenburg and Larry Phillips.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10AM Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Witter cemetery, a funeral service will follow at 10am with Pastors Jackie Deaton and  Kelly Lindsey officiating. There will be a potluck held after the service so please bring a lawn chair. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Services of Huntsville.
