Jack Benson

Jack Benson 86, of Huntsville passed away Thursday, January 20,2022 at Shiloh Heath & Rehab in Springdale. He was born July 10,1935 in Los Angeles CA to John Benson and Beulah (Wimmer) Benson.

Jack loved attending meetings and was an Elder at The Huntsville congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. He loved to go camping and trout fishing and was known at family events for his famous tacos.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob Benson and Richard Benson and sister, Eileen Shepherd.

 He was survived by his wife of 62 years, Joyce Benson of the home; children, David Benson and wife Susan of Huntsville and Dianna Harp and husband Roger of Peel; sister, Mary Ann Shepherd of Oregon; brother, Jimmy Mabry of California; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many other friends and family.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service. There will be a memorial service at 2pm Saturday, January 29 ,2022 at Huntsville congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. They will have a streaming of it as they are not meeting in person. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Circle of life Hospice.
