James Richard “Rick” Tucker, 66 of Elkins passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 11, 1959, in Huntsville , Arkansas to Vernon James Tucker and Billie Ruth (Thompson) Tucker. Rick was a founding member of the Cowboy Church in Huntsville. He spent his life as an auctioneer. He loved team roping, fishing and hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Tucker of the home; children, Brandy Reed and husband Thomas of Prairie Grove, Samantha Reed and husband Zack of Elkins, and Lee Edward Fisher and wife Kimberly of Harrison; sisters, Deborah Lunning of Sheridan, Arkansas and Kim James and husband Larry of Spring Valley; grandchildren, Bryan, Kaylin, Taevon, Cody, Conner, Chloe, River, Knox and Layla; great grandchildren, Elliston and Magnolia as well as many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Cowboy Church in Huntsville (902 Crossbow Road Huntsville, AR 72740) with Brother Kelly Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Joyce Cemetery in Spring Valley. Pallbearers will be Thomas Reed, Zack Reed, Bryan Gabbard, River Patton, Lee Fischer, and Larry Baines. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
