Jay Lee Ricketts

Jay Lee Rickets, age 78 of Huntsville, AR, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at WRMC in Fayetteville, AR. He was born at Dutton, AR, to J.W. and Gertie Ricketts.

Jay served in the Army. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on his cattle farm, woodworking, hiking and reading.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Archel Ricketts, sister Jane Pelto and nephew Steve Ricketts.

He is survived by his wife Marolyn Ricketts, son Burton Ricketts, nephews Matthew Pelto and James Ricketts, sister-in-law Carolyn Ferguson, brother-in-law Coy Gardner and wife Rose and Loy Joe Gardner and wife Mary.

Thank you for your service, you will be greatly missed among family and friends.

The family is planning a private celebration of life at a later date.

Cremation is under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
