Jeff Town

Jeff Arthur Town, 75, died Monday, November 29th, 2021 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville AR. He resided at Fayetteville Health & Rehab, prior to that he resided at Countryside Assisted Living and also lived with Debra and Mitchell in Huntsville Arkansas.

He was born April 8th, 1946 in Eureka Kansas, to Junior Milton Town and Emily Marie (Yost) Town. He was a graduate of Eureka High School and excelled in football, basketball and track. On December 25th 1969 he married Glenda Kay Haga in Eureka KS and soon moved to Dodge City Kansas.

Together they started their own private club and bar business. His career included managing a gas station, and working for UPS servicing their trucks.  Shortly after Glenda passed away in 2010, he retired from the State of Kansas as a mechanic and in 2012 moved to Arkansas to be closer to his children.  He loved sports of all kinds and gatherings of family, friends and food. He was a loving, giving man, who always took care of his family and seemed to always be taking care of one of his friends. He had so many friends and many stories to share from being in the private club and bar business.

Survivors include 2 daughters Debra Baldwin and husband Mitch of Huntsville, AR and Kimberley Sanchez of Belton MO; 5 grandchildren Tyler Baldwin and wife Sherry of Elkins AR, Travis Baldwin and wife Paige of Huntsville AR, Amber Alcantara and husband Martin of Olathe KS, Leslie Davis of Belton MO and Matthew Sanchez of Belton MO.; 5 great grandchildren Paighton, Suzette, Drevyon, Anna, and Adrian; 1 Sister Cheryl McCoy of Kiefer OK, and 1 brother Larry and wife Julie Town of Howard KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of over 40 years-Kimberley’s Mother-Glenda Kay (Haga) Town and Debra’s Mother-Martha Joan (Rice) Town.
