Jeremy Wayne Mefford

Jeremy Mefford passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of pure kindness, selflessness and love. Childlike in the best possible way, Jeremy had a servant’s heart, a deep devotion to serving the Lord and would eagerly help anyone out in any way that he could.

He brought an infectious energy to everything he loved. A passionate Arkansas Razorbacks fan, he was always ready to call The Hogs, and he never missed a UFC main card. Jeremy also had a sharp style and a legendary love for shoes, especially his favorite Jordans, all while listening to his favorite late 90s and early 2000s rap. More than anything, he loved life's adventures, traveling, exploring new places, trying new foods and making lasting memories spending time with his close friends and his family.

Jeremy was also a dedicated professional who took great pride in his work history. He previously owned and built his own janitorial business, an achievement he was deeply proud of, and later poured his talent and charisma into the professional janitorial industry as an accomplished salesman for many years.

Above all else, his greatest passion was his family. He was a deeply devoted husband to his spouse, Mallory Baldwin, and a loving father to his daughter, Amelia. He was also a proud stepfather to Connor and Mason Brainard, and he was filled with immense joy and excitement at the opportunity to become a dad again to his baby on the way.

He was preceded in death by his father. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Mallory Baldwin of Fayetteville; his children: Amelia Mefford and a baby on the way; his son, Caden Mefford of Florida; his daughter, Lilian Mefford of Florida; his stepsons: Connor Brainard and Mason Brainard, both of Fayetteville; his sister: Cherie (Travis) Conner of Harrison; his nephews: Johnathan Conner and Elisha Conner; his mother; his parents-in-law, Scott (Regina) Richardson of Shell Knob, Missouri and his brothers-in-law: Weiand (Faye) Richardson of Green Forest, Arkansas, Arias Richardson of Green Forest and Lunati Richardson of Green Forest.

Instead of a traditional funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be held to focus on the happy moments and stories that defined Jeremy's life.

The gathering will be held this Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Mercy and Grace Church, located at 5185 Apple Rd, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Family and friends are invited to come together to listen to stories and celebrate the incredible warmth and joy Jeremy brought to this world.

A private graveside ceremony will take place in Springdale, with Pastor Euel Bilderback officiating.

The family requests that all flowers be sent to the church for the celebration of life service.
