Jerry Lee Johnson

Jerry Lee Johnson, 60, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, surrounded by loved ones. Jerry was born to Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Gray in Huntsville and was a lifetime resident of Huntsville. The last few years were the happiest of his life because he finally found the love of his life who he wanted to spend eternity with.  Jerry was loved by many.  He loved gardening, fishing, old western movies and old country music.  Jerry was a member of the Hindsville Baptist Church.  He was a hardworking man that began his career as a rock layer in his 20’s. Then changed over to being a car mechanic, which he did for over 30 years.  It’s been said that Jerry could fix anything. 

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Mark and Elsie Johnson. 

Survivors include his wife, Angela Mitchell-Johnson of Huntsville, AR; mother-in-law, Nona (Clayton) Ryals of Lockesburg; one son, Tommy Johnson of Missouri; step son, Aaron Mitchell of Ashdown; step daughter, Jessica (Jonathon) Trail of Paragould; one sister, Sharon Bethel of Huntsville; one sister-in-law, Alisha (Mark) Cater of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Bobby Beard and Jimmy Johnson of Forum; two grandchildren, Ryan and Lyla; one niece, Ashlee Israel of Huntsville; one nephew, Airron (Elizabeth) Bethel of Huntsville; four great nieces, Aubrie, Faith, Stella and Paisley; two great nephews, Bentlee and Raygan; more family and one long time friend and boss, Mike Campbell of Huntsville.

Graveside memorial services will be held June 1, 2024 at 2pm at Huntsville Cemetery in Huntsville with Reverend Jack McCarty officiating. Funeral Services will be under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
