Judith “Judy” Ann (Regnier) Smith, age 79, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by family, on January 7, 2026. Judy was born on July 16, 1946, in Gassville, Arkansas, to Donald Lee Regnier and Zelma Nadine (Moore) Regnier.
In her youth, Judy traveled with her family to various military bases, experiences that sparked her love of adventure and curiosity about the world. She was an avid reader, an animal lover, and a generous supporter of many charities throughout her life.
A strong and independent woman, Judy spent many years as a cross-country truck driver, traveling extensively throughout the United States. She loved the open road, the freedom it gave her, and the stories she collected along the way. Despite the many miles, her heart was always with her family.
Judy lived a full and adventurous life and walked many roads, both literally and spiritually. In her later years, she returned wholeheartedly to her faith in Jesus Christ, finding peace, purpose, and assurance in Him. Her faith became a source of strength and comfort, and she leaned on it deeply as she finished her race.
Judy’s life was a testimony of resilience, redemption, and enduring love. She will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on through those who loved her most.
Judy was the devoted mother of three children: Angela Smith of Illinois, Stan Smith of Huntsville, Arkansas, and Tina Bowers (Ray) of Huntsville, Arkansas. She was a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Josh Grimmenga, Amber Grimmenga, Casey Smith, Chance Holt, Katie Hammett, Dustin Haddock, Sierra Stough, and Gracie Bowers, and a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren: Mila, A.J., Jameson, Dallas, Aspen, and Marlee, all of whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leland Lavern Sisk.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 17th, at the First Assembly of God at 102 Grace Way, Huntsville, AR. Pastor Alex Foster will be officiating the service, which will be followed by food and fellowship at the church’s Family Life Center. Burial services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Flippin, AR at a later date.
