Keith Edgar Bennett

Keith Edgar Bennett, 87 of Clifty passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at his home. He was born May 3, 1935 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Arthur Bennett and Edith Pearl (Clark) Bennett. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a longtime member of the Clifty Fire Department and a first responder. He was a veteran in the U.S Army. He enjoyed hunting, restoring and driving horse drawn buggies and old tractors. He operated Keith’s saddle and tack in Clifty for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nettie (Cox) Bennett two infant children, Julie and Danny Bennett.

Survivors include his son, Arthur Bennett of Clifty; two daughters, Debbie Frazier and husband Darrell of Clifty and Arlene Gerlock and husband Joseph of Georgetown, TX; sister, Wanda Dodge of Hutchinson, KS; stepson, Ronnie Trotter and wife Donna of Rogers; eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Private burial will be at Clifty Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
