Leland D Lawson

Leland Dowie Lawson, 62 of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was born April 6, 1958 in Huntsville to Gleason and Tina (Bolinger) Lawson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Walden. Survivors include his sister, Debbie Oropeza of Huntsville; daughter, Silvia (Lawson) Cook and Jeanie of Versailles, MO; two sons, Travis Lawson of Virginia Beach, VA and Lucas Lawson of Texas; three grandchildren, Joel, Logan and Lilly ; step mother, Katherine Lawson; step daughter , Jeanette Koenig and her daughter, Hailee Koennig of Wharton, TX; great grand Son, Kaiden Koenig and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2020 from 5-7PM at the Huntsville Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
