Loyd James Yarbrough

Loyd “Bubby” James Yarbrough, 69 of Buhl, ID passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Lloyd Eugene Yarbrough and Ana Lou (Auslam) Yarbrough.

Loyd was a longtime truck driver and after retirement continued to travel the country. He loved fishing especially during the retirement years if he seen water somewhere in his travels he would make sure to stop and throw out his line. He loved family, Southern Gospel music and was a devoted Christian. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Amy Head.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Cathy (Wiggins) Yarbrough of the home; children, Angela Yarbrough of Springdale, Larry Yarbrough and wife Kelly of Huntsville and Laura Yarbrough of Joplin, MO; siblings, Onna Fryar of Huntsville, Becky Vines and husband John of Huntsville, Diana Yarbrough of Huntsville and Jeff Yarbrough and wife Christina of West Jordan, UT; grandchildren, Shane, Dusty, Dalton, Laken, Bradley, Alexis, Kearstun and Aiden; great grandchildren, Leshaun, Jordan, Danny; uncle Jim Auslam and Aunt Mary Sue Emitt and many nieces, nephews other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 Am-11Am at the Astounding Grace Church in Hindsville. A funeral service will follow at 11AM with Pastors Gary Digsby, Chris Fryar and Kelly Yarbrough officiating. Burial will be at West End Cemetery in Buhl, ID. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be : Larry Yarbrough, Dalton Yarbrough, Colton Davis, Christopher Fryar Jr., Tanner Yarbrough and Caden Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: J.W Bohannon, Shane Tumbleson, John Vines, Ronnie Dale Burgess and Matt Yarbrough
