Peter Dirk Kadyk

Peter Dirk Kadyk, 86 of Huntsville passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Countryside Assisted Living in Huntsville.

He was born March 4, 1938, in San Antonio, TX to Rev. J. Merion and Elizabeth H. Kadyk.

He attended many different schools in various towns where his father was a Presbyterian minister.

He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany where he met his wife, and they were married. He loved working on cars and watching auto racing. He enjoyed spending time with his wife at Canyon Lake in Texas where they lived for many years. He retired from J.C Pennys and Walmart.

He was preceded in death by parents; his wife of 50 years, Annemarie Kadyk; two sons, Dirk W. Kadyk and Marc M. Kadyk and brother, Folkert H. Kadyk.

Survivors include his daughter, Angelika K. Baber of Huntsville; two grandsons, Matthew Glosenger of Urbandale, IA and Bryan Glosenger and wife Angela of Van Buren, AR; two great grandsons, Daniel and Dakota; three brothers, Fred Kadyk and wife Janet of Rockford Il and Marc Kadyk and wife Sandy of Boone, NC, and Bill Kadyk and wife Ginny of St Louis, MO and several nieces, nephews and many friends.  There are no services planned. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
