Randy Hudson Obituary

Randy Howell Hudson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on December 30, 1948, in Marble, Arkansas, Randy was a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man. His life journey began in the small town where he was raised, and he carried the values instilled in him by his parents, Kendall Madison Hudson and Fern Sullivan.

Randy's early education took place at Huntsville Public School, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with hard work and determination. After finishing school, he dedicated himself to farming, a vocation that not only sustained him but also kept him close to the land and the lifestyle he loved. He was known for his strong work ethic and for being the "boss" in every sense of the word, a characteristic that endeared him to many.  Before retiring in 1998, he dedicated 28 years as the chief engineer at Butterball Turkey Factory.

In 1986, Randy began dating the love of his life, Charlotte Marie Stadler. Their love blossomed, and they were joyfully married on April 11, 1990. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. Charlotte became his partner in every adventure, and they built a beautiful life together in Huntsville, Arkansas

Randy was a man of many passions. He found joy in coon hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting, often spending time outdoors and enjoying the serenity that nature provided. He also had a love for train rides, which brought him immense joy throughout his life. His hobbies were not just pastimes; they were a reflection of his spirit and a way for him to connect with those he loved.

Randy was a proud father to three children: one daughter, Sara Hudson of Springdale, Arkansas, two sons, Robbie (Traci) St. Clair of Marble, Arkansas, and Jimmie (Sheri) St. Clair of Venice, Florida. He is also survived by a brother, Kenny Hudson of Marble, Arkansas, and two sisters, Katherine (Aldan) Pierce and Laura (Russell) Wills, both of Huntsville, Arkansas. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who filled his heart with joy and pride.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Randall Leo Hudson, and siblings, Edward Hudson and June Borland. Their memories remained close to his heart, and he often reflected on the love and lessons they imparted to him.

As a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Randy found strength and solace in his faith. His involvement in the church was a testament to his character and his commitment to helping others. He was respected and loved by those who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his kind spirit touched the lives of many.
