Roberto Fernandez De La Cruz

Roberto Fernandez De La Cruz, 71 of Hindsville passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at his home. He was born November 15, 1954, in Nieves, Zacatecas Mexico to Luis Fernandez and Juana (Cabella) Fernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Salvador Fernandez.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Fernandez; children, Rocky Fernandez and wife Silvia, Mary Herrera and husband Juan, Roberto Fernandez and wife Bam, Alyssia Fernandez, Josefina Douangdara and husband King, Gloria Carrasco and husband Ramon and Teresa Herrera-Estrada and husband Francisco; brothers, Manuel Fernandez De La Cruz, Pedro Fernandez De La Cruz, Jesus Fernandez De La Cruz and Sirilo Fernandez De La Cruz; twenty-three grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Friday. May 29, 2026, in the chapel of Madison County Funeral Service located 4373 S. Main St, Hindsville, Arkansas with a Rosary to follow at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held 10AM, Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church in Huntsville with Fr. Keith Higginbotham officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Sparks Cemetery in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Juan Herrera, Luis Herrera, Roberto Fernandez, Rocky Fernandez, Rocky Fernandez Jr. and Caleb Fernandez.

 Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
