Ruby Head

Ruby Head, 99 of Huntsville passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Meadowview Nursing Home. She was born November 19, 1921 in Rogers, Arkansas to George Brown Yarbrough and Ona Bea (Barnes) Yarbrough.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Glenn Head; daughter, Narene Frederick; son, Donald Wayne Frederick; three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna Loftin and husband Jim of Lowell; son, Greg Head and wife Kathy of Huntsville; Grandchildren, Kim, Kristy, Jarred, Marla, Sarah and Donnita; great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Jaxon, Kamdyn and Reed and many other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Meadowview Nursing home for the love and care they provided.

A funeral service will be held 10AM, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Big Sandy Church with Kelly Yarbrough and Chris Fryar officiating. Burial will follow at Big Sandy Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
