Shirley Jean Johnson

Shirley Jean Usrey, 67 of Witter passed away, Sunday, April 6th ,2025 at her home. She was born on February  26th, 1958, in Huntsville, AR, to Ernest Clifton and Mary Edna (Castle) Usrey.  She loved to fish, pilot small planes and photography. She was a special Education teacher and a member of Astounding Grace Church in Hindsville, AR. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Calvin and Tommy Burcham and one sister Deloris Burcham.  

Survivors include her husband, Larry Johnson; Zoey Johnson of Alaska, Allie Johnson of Florida, Amanda Cross and husband Chad of Alaska, Michael Johnson of Washington and Larry Johnson of Witter; 11 grandchildren; siblings Mary Owens of Witter, William and Robert Usery of Huntsville, Jerry Burcham of Rapid City, Joe Usery of Fayetteville and Carolyn Usery of Texas.

 A Graveside  Service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April  12th, at Venus Mountain Cemetery in Witter, AR with Pastor Evan Walden officiating.  Visitation will be starting at 1
PM.

Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
