Stella Florence Acuff

Stella Florence Acuff, 83 of Hindsville passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Circle of Life in Springdale. She was born on July 24, 1942, in Clifty, Arkansas to James Lynch and Eliza (Rice) Lynch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 54 years, James Aurther Acuff; daughter Danette Acuff and sisters Lois Litrell and Bessie Nodine Jones and son in law, Keith Jones.

Survivors include her children, Dedara Jones of Springdale, Doug Acuff and wife Pat of Hindsville, Danny Acuff and wife Rachel of Pineville, Missouri, Kim Watkins and husband Brad of Huntsville; sisters Mary Johnson of Springdale, JoAnn Maze of Elm Springs and Ina Watson of Hindsville; Grandchildren  Michael, Jenifer, Anthony, Latisha, Joey, Shelby, Dakota, Evan, Wyatt, Erin, Briar, Jake, Chantelly and Bianca; 34 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many other family and friends

Visitation will be 6-8pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the chapel of Madison County Funeral Service located 4373 S. Main St., Hindsville, AR.

A funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Valley Lighthouse Church, located at 243 E. Valley Rd in Hindsville with Pastors Jerry Henshaw and James Howell officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Clifty. Pallbearers will be: Michael Jones, Jake Strout, Joey Acuff, Dakota Acuff, Evan Acuff, Anthony Jones, Wyatt Watkins and Briar Watkins. Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service
