Teddy Franklin Weir, 72 of Gillett, AR passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Fayetteville Health and Rehab. He was born October 21, 1948 in Benton Harbor, MI to Elmer and Vernice (Fuchs) Weir.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sandra Curtis and Margie Ross and brother, Freddy Weir.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kay Weir of Gillette, AR; two sons, Jimmy Dean Carter of Holland, MI and Teddy Franklin Weir Jr of Hartford, MI; daughter, NaMonica McCormick of Huntsville, AR; sisters, Pat Collins and husband Hartley, Connie Cannon and Teila White all of Hartford, MI, Marie Clouse of Millburg, MI and Sheila Garcia of Ft Meyers, FL; brothers, Timothy Weir of Hartford, MI and Richard Weir of Coloma, MI and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Faith Baptist Church in DeWitt, AR. A funeral service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the church with Pastor Donald Lee Ruffin officiating.
