Thomas Durell

Thomas Ray DuRell, 81, of Wesley, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on September 6, 1944, in Washington County, Arkansas, to Clarence Albert DuRell and Myrle (Turner) DuRell.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Brenda Joyce (Drummond) DuRell; his daughter, Joetta Meda–Gonzalez; brothers, Clarence Patrick DuRell and Charles Davis; and sister, Carolyn Tedford.

He is survived by his children: Tommy Lee DuRell of Wesley; Jeff DuRell and wife Angela of Wesley; Patty Neal and husband David of Wesley; and Melissa Burnett and husband Larry, also of Wesley.
He is also survived by two sisters, Gladys McClelland of Fayetteville and Mary Lou Howard of Durham; and a brother, James Barker of Goshen.

His grandchildren include: Gavin DuRell, Nicholas Baird, Rose DuRell, Michael DuRell, Jamaica DuRell, Huntyr DuRell, Aspen DuRell, Jessica Shipman, Andrea Neal, Bobbie Webb, Thomas Bennett, Jennifer Korosec, Christopher Bennett, Jonathan Bennett, Carol Nygren, Ashley Thornberry, and Kaitlyn Ferguson.

He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
