Timothy Ray Lackey

Timothy Ray Lackey, 59 of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 in Fayetteville.  He was born April 7, 1964 in Fayetteville to Alfred Lackey and Betty (Hollingsworth) Lackey.  He loved hunting, fishing, and Alabama football. He thought the world of his nieces and nephews.  Despite medical challenges, he always maintained a positive attitude.  He was a happy, likeable guy who is going to be missed very much.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donnie Lackey, and a sister Connie Lackey Barnes.

He is survived by his sons Marcus Lackey and Christopher Lackey; brother Darrell Lackey and Peggy; brother Jimmy Lackey; sisters Cathy Shipley, Judy Kloster, Shirley Nobles and Ricky, Debbie Deleporte and Arthur, and Janie Bruton and Joe; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Sandra Gulledge.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 28 at 1 pm at Patrick Cemetery with Pastor Rex Eaton officiating.  A visitation will be graveside beginning one hour prior to service.

Pallbearers are Sheldon Lackey, Gage Lackey, Ty Parker, Jason Kloster, Earnest Gulledge, and Bobby Gulledge.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
