Wayne Allen Holiday, age 83 of Hindsville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, William "Auldie" and Susan Bradshaw Holiday; two infant brothers; a sister-in-law, Pauline Spencer; three brothers-in-law, James Parker, Mitchell Spencer, and Rayburn Eaton; a grandson, Wayne Holiday III, and his parents-in-law, Bert and Lucille Howerton.
Wayne is survived by his wife of the home, Helen Howerton Holiday, whom he married May 30, 1959; one daughter, Rhonda Holiday; sons Wayne Holiday Jr. (Katie), Kelly Holiday Larrie), and Kenny Holiday (Charlotte); nine grandchildren including Christi Black (Roscoe), Kelli Acosta (Elliott), Daniel Holiday (Hailey), Cory & Nnabike Nnwachaku, Cory Holiday, Jessica Robinson (Kyle), April Robinson (Jace), Colton Holiday (Heather), fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Eaton of Elkins, and Crystene Allred of King City, CA; one brother, Charles Holiday (Julia) of Huntsville; sisters-in-law Patsy Parker and Janet Cain (Phillip) of Kingston, and brother-in-law Leroy Howerton (Judy) of Dry Fork along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends including Kathy and Alden Pierce that were married in the same wedding ceremony as the Holiday’s.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Hindsville First Baptist Church with lunch following. Please recall as many good memories and wonderful times you have had with Wayne to share with us.
