William “Larry” Omohundro, 75, of Elkins, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at The Blossoms at Rogers Health & Nursing Center. He was born February 21, 1948 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to William Roscoe and Virginia Louise (Cox) Omohundro. He worked for Fayetteville Public Schools for 48 years. He was a member of Round Mountain Community Church for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and get togethers with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Heather Marie Omohundro. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dianne (Counts) Omohundro of Elkins; son, Dwayne Omohundro and wife Jessica of Elkins; sister, Carol Allen of Farmington as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at Round Mountain Community Church. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 2P.M. with Reverend Tim Beers officiating. Burial will follow at Round Mountain Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Etchison, Chad Parrish, Michael Parrish, Darrin Parrish, Tommy Davenport, David Tate, and Randy Fitch. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph O’Neal, Ted O’Neal, Bradley Parrish, and Tommy Omohundro.
Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.

The family would also like to thank the staff at The Blossoms and Willard Walker Hospice Home for the care Larry received throughout his final months.
