William Franklin Wilcox, 86 of Hindsville passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born June 15, 1938, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to William Fredrick Wilcox and Thelma Loretta (Shumate) Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 63 years, Glenda June Wilcox.
Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Wilcox of the home; daughter, Sandra Gabbard and husband Billy of Elkins; brother, John Wilcox of Heber Springs; sister, Mary Lou Alderson of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Brandon gabbard and wife Jessica of Elkins, Calvin Gabbard and wife Lindsey of Harrison, Miranda Chard and husband Cheyenne of Elkins, Stormy Baker of Lincoln, William James Wilcox of Hindsville, Megan Nicole Alexander and husband Dustin of Fayetteville and Dacia Renee Wilcox of Wisconsin; fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2PM, December 6, 2024, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Goshen with Randall Galloway officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Kings Cemetery. Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville. The Pallbearers will be Brandon Gabbard, Calvin Gabbard, James Wilcox, Cheyenne Chard, Dustin Alexander and Bryan Gabbard. Honorary pallbearers are Craig Warford and Billy Gabbard.
