Wilma Jean Peterson, also known as Duke by so many, passed away quietly in Huntsville, Ar. on July 25, 2020. Wilma was born on August 20,1936 in Fayetteville to Enos and Dovie (Daniels) Glisson. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shelia Glisson; three brothers, EJ Glisson, Billy Glisson and Tommy Glisson and one grandson, Jason Parrish. She is survived by three sisters, Kathleen Smith of Elkins, Sue Gooding of Farmington and JoEllen Frederick of Elkins; four brothers, Bobby Glisson of Farmington, James “Bo” Glisson of Elkins, Mike Glisson of Bentonville and Eddie Glisson of Fayetteville; daughter, LaJeana Hester of Bella Vista; three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private burial will be held at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
