Winona Rousey

Winona Rousey, 73 of Berryville passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at her home. She was born May 14, 1949 in Huntington Park, CA to Thomas R. Gettys and Nellie May (Keltner) Gettys. She was a bus driver for many years for the Berryville Schools and she was a member of the Green Forest United Baptist Church and loved to play the piano. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dean Gettys.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Rousey of the home; two daughters, Brenda Wigger and husband David of Dean, Arkansas and Gina Rousey of Rogers; son, Robert Rousey and wife Eva of Bentonville; five grandchildren, Kandi Coates, Ginger Armington and husband Pete, Bronson Garrett, Brooklyn Michaud and husband Eric, and Ciarrah Rousey-Rangel and five great-grandchildren, Landon Garrett, Aubree Coates, Nina Garrett, Travis Coates, and Edrick Michaud.

A funeral service will be 11AM, Monday, February 20, 2023 at Marble United Baptist Church with Brother Jerry Spurlock officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Robert Rousey, Bronson Garrett, Pete Armington, David Wigger, Eric Michaud and Eugene Wigger. Honorary Pallbearer: Landon Garrett, Travis Coates and Edrick Michaud.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service of Huntsville.
