Clifford Ray Price

Clifford “Ray“ Price, age 73, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday May 3, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri after battling cancer.  Ray was born on February 26, 1946 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Ray was mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on anything with a motor as well as yard selling and swap meets.  He enjoyed working construction, farming, and spending time with friends and family especially Fred Holmes, Tat Pierce, and Nancy Douglas.  Ray was very fond of his very loyal four legged friend “Shorty”. 

Ray was preceded in death by his Parents, Arthur “Sparky” Price and FloraBell (Little) Price as well as one sister, Alta Mae Price.  He is survived by his four children; Daughter, Susan and husband G.H Kilgore of Green Forest, Son, Mark and wife Leta Price of Harrison, Daughter, Melinda and husband Bill Taylor of Harrison, and Daughter Jennifer Burdine of Harrison, AR.  Eight Grandchildren, Amanda, Cody, Ashley, Kayla, Josh, Ethan, Jolynn and Wyatt; and twelve Great-Grand children, Rosie, Bella, Steele, Denver, Hayden, Lennix, Maverick, Oakley, Camilla, Catalina, Brantley and Briella.  Ray is also survived by his Aunt Bessie Johnson of Kansas. Four siblings, Charles Price of Alpena, William Price of Omaha, Iva Lee Hill of Pyatt, and Deloris Kenney of Branson and many nieces and nephews.

Ray’s visitation will be held at Olvey Bible Church at 1PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, with a Celebration of Life following at 2PM. Services will be officiated by Pastor Bobby Brown.

Pallbearers: Wyatt Burdine, Nick Caudle, Kason Knapp, Brandon Cross, Josh Taylor, and Fred Holmes.

Honorary Pallbearers: Cody Kilgore and Bill Taylor

Burial will be held at Warner’s Cemetery, Harrison Arkansas.  

Funeral services are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.
