Gordon Richart

Gordon Lee Richart, 64 of Forum passed from this life Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Thursday, October 11, 1956 in Phoenix, AZ to Lawrence C. Richart and Geraldine M. (Freas) Richart. Gordon married Kathy Sue Upshaw on December 13, 1991 although they have been together 44 years. He was known for his great sense of humor. He was an avid hunter, who loved everything about the outdoors. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone especially if it was about hunting. He was a devoted husband and father who loved gathering friends and family for Bar-B-Ques and telling stories of great hunts and good times with friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas C. Richart and sister, Virginia A. Richart.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kathy Richart of the home; daughter, Reva McGourty and husband Steven of Forum; three grandsons, Kevin Patrick and wife Patricia of Kingston, Izak McGourty and Jordan McGourty of Forum; granddaughter, Sarah Burks and husband Scotty of Forum; two brothers, Marvin Richart and wife Pat of Fayetteville and Donald Richart and wife Carol of Alton, MO; sister, Wanita Dill of Mayflower, AR; four great grandchildren, Greyson and  Laykn Patrick and Tori and Leila Burks and several nieces and nephews.
