Jerry Wages

Jerry Wages, 65 of Huntsville passed away Friday, October 14,2022 at Willard Walker Hospice. He was born July 21,1957 at Huntsville to Dearl and Mamie Wages. He was preceded in death by his father; three sisters, Louise Austin, Ruth McElroy and Mary Lou Wages; daughter, Sharon Thompson; grandson Joseph Ybanez; grandson in law, Greg Stephenson; and his best friend Ricky Thompson.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years Carolyn Wages of the home; his mother Mamie Wages of Huntsville; three daughters, Melinda Thompson-Osorio and husband Raphael  of North Carolina, Jacklyn Burk and husband Wayne of Kingston , and Kay Thompson and Eric Watson of Clifty; granddaughters, Ashley Davidson and husband Johnny of Huntsville, Haley Stephenson of Elkins, and Analyse Sloop and husband Steven of Kingston, and Sixteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six brothers Gene Wages and wife Clarisse of San Antonio TX, Jimmie Wages and wife Twila of Huntsville, Kenneth Wages and wife Lisa of Springdale, Calvin Wages and wife Charlotte of Huntsville, Delbert Wages and wife Becky of Huntsville, and Andrew Wages and wife Beverly of Rogers;  numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM Thursday, October 20,2022 at Madison County Funeral Service Chapel. A service will be 10 am Friday, October 21,2022 at Hindsville 1st Baptist Church with Max Bowlin. Burial will follow at Cave Mountain cemetery.
