Kathleen was a good Christian woman, and was a member of Crystal Hills Family Fellowship.

She was married to the love of her life, Lawrence Smith, for 69 wonderful years and became an

integral part of the Smith family.  She became a close friend to her sister in love Linda Van

Brunt, and a beloved sister in law to Lawrences brothers, Alvin and Jerry Don. Twenty of those

68 years were spent living in Wichita, Kansas where she had both of her children. They moved to

Elkins, Arkansas in 1973. They opened the Hitchin' Post Flea Market and which later turned into

the Hitchin' Post Feed Store and lastly turned into the Blue Moon Restaurant.   Kathleen and

Lawrence loved to travel and never missed a Turkey Track Bluegrass Festival. She also enjoyed

square dancing, crafting, crocheting, and genealogy.  She worked outside the home occasionally

but preferred to be a homemaker.  Many of her friends and family can tell you that she was an amazing cook.  Kathleen loved many and was greatly loved by more.
